Booking Terms & Conditions

Beaujolais Hair Salon

These Terms & Conditions apply to all appointments booked with Beaujolais Hair Salon (“the Salon”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Appointments & Service Allocation

1.1 All appointments are subject to availability and are allocated a specific time based on the service selected at the time of booking.
1.2 It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the correct service is booked. Incorrect bookings may result in insufficient time allocation, service amendment, additional charges, or cancellation.

2. Deposits & Advance Payments

2.1 A booking deposit of between 0% and 50% of the service price may be required, depending on the service selected.
2.2 The required deposit amount will be clearly communicated at the time of booking via our website, booking system, or a member of the Salon team.
2.3 Deposits are deducted from the final service cost on the day of the appointment.
2.4 Clients with a history of late cancellations or non-attendance may be required to pay 100% of the service value in advance to secure future bookings.
2.5 All deposits and advance payments are non-refundable where cancellation terms are not complied with.

3. Cancellations & Amendments

3.1 A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or amend an appointment.
3.2 Cancellations or amendments made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will be charged 100% of the total booking value.
3.3 Any deposit paid will be forfeited where insufficient notice is provided.

4. Late Arrivals

4.1 Clients are expected to arrive on time for their appointment.
4.2 Late arrival may result in a reduced service time to avoid disruption to subsequent appointments.
4.3 Where a late arrival makes the service impractical or unsafe to complete, the Salon reserves the right to cancel the appointment and charge 100% of the booking value.

5. Non-Attendance (No-Shows)

5.1 Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice will be treated as a no-show.
5.2 No-shows will be charged 100% of the booked service value.
5.3 Repeated no-shows may result in refusal of future bookings or mandatory full pre-payment.

6. Pricing & Service Adjustments

6.1 All prices provided at the time of booking are indicative only and are based on the information supplied by the client.
6.2 The Salon reserves the right to adjust the price of a service prior to commencement where, following consultation, it is determined that:

  • (a) The length, thickness, or condition of the hair does not correspond with the service booked; and/or

  • (b) The time, products, or technical work required to complete the service would materially exceed that originally booked or reasonably anticipated.

6.3 Any price adjustment will be clearly communicated to the client before the service begins, and no service will proceed without the client’s agreement to the revised price.
6.4 Where the client does not agree to the revised service or price, the Salon reserves the right to decline or cancel the appointment. Cancellation charges may still apply in accordance with Section 3.

7. Colour, Chemical & Specialist Services

7.1 Certain services, including but not limited to colouring, chemical treatments, and hair extensions, may require a consultation and/or patch test.
7.2 Patch tests must be completed within the timeframe specified by the Salon. Failure to comply may result in cancellation of the appointment, with charges applied in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
7.3 Clients must disclose all relevant hair history, previous treatments, allergies, and medical information. The Salon accepts no liability where such information is withheld or inaccurately provided.

8. Payments

8.1 Payment is due in full on the day of the appointment, unless otherwise agreed in advance.
8.2 Prices may vary depending on hair length, thickness, condition, and time required.
8.3 The Salon reserves the right to amend pricing at any time without prior notice.

9. Refunds & Complaints

9.1 Refunds are not offered on completed services.
9.2 Any dissatisfaction must be reported to the Salon within 48 hours of the appointment to allow assessment and, where appropriate, a reasonable remedy.

10. Behaviour & Right to Refuse Service

10.1 The Salon reserves the right to refuse or terminate a service where:

  • A client behaves in an abusive, aggressive, or inappropriate manner

  • A service may compromise health or safety

  • These Terms & Conditions are breached

11. Personal Property

11.1 Clients attend the Salon at their own risk.
11.2 Beaujolais Hair Salon accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises.

12. Data Protection & Use of Personal Information

12.1 Beaujolais Hair Salon collects and processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
12.2 Personal data may include, but is not limited to, names, contact details, booking history, service records, consultation notes, and payment information.
12.3 The Salon may use client data in a reasonable and proportionate manner for legitimate business purposes, including:

  • Managing appointments and bookings

  • Processing deposits and payments

  • Maintaining client records and service history

  • Communicating appointment confirmations, reminders, changes, or cancellations

  • Improving services and client experience

12.4 Client data may be processed, stored, and managed using third-party systems and suppliers, including online booking platforms, payment providers, CRM systems, and communication services, where necessary to operate the business effectively.
12.5 All third-party providers are required to process data lawfully, securely, and in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.
12.6 The Salon will not sell client data and will take reasonable measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
12.7 Clients have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data, subject to legal and operational obligations.

13. Amendments to Terms & Conditions

13.1 Beaujolais Hair Salon reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
13.2 The Terms & Conditions in force at the time of booking shall apply.
